About Me

My photo
born in Solihull,a town in England just to south of the city of Birmingham. I lived there for 5 years then moved to Saudi Arabia for the first time and lived first in Asasco and then Roc compound for a total of 4 years. After that I was back in Birmingham, going to Al-Hijrah school, then to the school i wish I was still at, King Edward VI Camphill school for boys. This school is where i grew up into the person you see today, where all my friends are still studying at. But for some reason unknown to me, we had to move back AGAIN to Saudi, where I am now studying in Manarat.

Ramadhan has gone

Salam people
I think this time I'm actually going to type an actual thoughtful, non-copy&paste  blog ... so here we go

As i sit here in dubai, on my laptop I am struck by the realisation that eid is only a couple of days away here. Time definitely has passed extremely quickly, and another month of blessing has passed us by. Hopefully we have all spent these past 30 days trying to earn the myriad of rewards ready for us. This Ramadhan I'm glad to say was a time, for me at least, of relaxation and introspection, with many a dose of QurĂ¡n and Salah, especially taraweeh.
During the introspection I realised I needed to set an agenda for next year, to set myself goals to work towards, time to look forward to the next year.. Time to set an agenda,

Firstly I'm gonna get set up a regular work out routine incorporating weights, cardio, and aerobics, inshallah this time next year I will be able to beat all of you in arm wrestling and having at least a 4 pac, an unlikely prospect but one I'm going to strive acheive inshallah.

Next on the list is to turn this blog into a review of various nasheed artists such as Zain Bhikha, and Native Deen. This obviously is a rather easier task to acheive, and its gonna start right after this post you're reading.

Thirdly, I'm actually going to study this year for my A2 exams. This astounding statement is probably due to the appalling results I obtained for my AS results. inshallah from the second week of school, revision will be set as 3 hours a day, 1 for each subject. Increasing to 2 hours per subject after christmas, then up again to 3 hours in March.

Lastly my football skills, these I hope I will be able to drastically improve before the year is over, playing with you lot has aided my increasing depth of skills in this beautiful game a momentous level, and inshallah you will all continue to be there to help me improve even more. Thanks People

Now is the end of this post but inshallah the beginning of a whole new chapter of my life...
But first its time for some chilling in Dubai...!!!!!
Salamualaikum-wa-rahmatullahi- wa-barakatuhu.

Who I am

This is a song by the nasheed artisit zain bhikha. It has had a profound effect on me. Probably due to the fact that it sums up the nature of teens in school, peer pressure, the whole lot.

It is from the Album 1415 The beginning

Social Expectation drowns us all inside
What you have should be what I want
Cos what I have just aint alright
The clothes I wear, the way I comb my hair
How I live, oh I don’t care
This is who I am, this is me
Nothing, everything, can’t you see
Who I am, just let me be
Cos like it or not but God loves me
Who I am
He said, she said, they all did
What’s expected of them all
To get to the top don’t matter
If somebody’s gotta fall
You gotta brace the storm, the norms to conform
Get what you wants’ gonna kill us all
Beyond the body that you see
There’s so much more to me
And I feel best when my soul is free
They tell me this is the way
that I need to reform
If I continue to stray,
I’m gonna start up a storm
Wear this, drive that, like this, not that
Don’t dare lose track or you’ll fall way back
But if my Lord loves me then
I know that I’m free
You can say what you want just let me be
I know if I’m real and it’s not a disguise
You’ll love who I am if you open up your eyes
I insist that you see, I aint a mystery
It’s who I wish to be, this is me
It’s what’s true within, come and look again
Looking through the skin
Who I Am

Morning sun

Morning sun

Just something i cooked up :

How do you rate the morning sun?

After a long and sleepless night,
How many stars would you give to the moon?
Can you see those stars from where you are?
Shine on the lost and loneliest,
The ones who can’t get over it.
And you always wanted more than life,
And now you don’t have the apetite

Send a message to the troubadour,
The world don’t love you anymore,
Tell me how do you rate the morning sun?

Stuck inside the rainbow,
You could happen to be,
‘cause I’ve been close to where you are!
I drove to places you have seen,
It all seems so familiar,
They’ve been sent to kill you.

It doesn’t take an astronaut
To float in the spaces just before
The morning brings the mystery,
The evening makes it history,
Who am I to rate the morning sun?

And the village drunk,
You know he sadly passed away,
It was a shame,
I never knew his name.
I wonder if he sat there in the morning
And watched the sunrise.

How do you rate the morning sun?
It was just a heavy
And all I wanted was the world.
And you were the starlet in the sun,
Don’t go wasting your time,
‘cause there is no finish line.

And you don’t see anything,
Not even love, not anything.
The night can take the man from you,
A sense of wonder overdue.

The morning brings the mystery,
The evening makes it history,
Who am I to rate the morning sun?

cars

This blog is about my favourite cars. I don't just mean supercars but all types  of cars

1) Lamborghini Reventon Roadster:
this absolutly stunning car has a 6.5 litre V12 engine producing 650 bhp. It will reach 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and on to a top speed of more than 210 mph, it has arrow shaped indicator lights and is designed to look like an f-22 raptor. It's instrument panel consists of 3 LCD displays which have the look of a jet fighter's control panel.

2) Nissan GT-R
This Technologically advanced vehicle, features a 3.8 litre, turbocharged engine, with 474 bhp which propel it to 0-62 in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph.
However it is the cornering of this car that is so amazing. If u watch series 13 or 12 of top gear u will see how the GTR nearly breaks Clarkson's neck will cornering . It aslo was awarded CAR magazine's car of 2009

3)  Mitsubushi Evo X
Made by nissan's rival, this car is nowhere in the gtr's league but still is amazing due to its rally car dna.
Looks amazing. produces around 403 bhp and is CRAZY AMAZING

4) Ariel Atom V8
My god, A V8 in that light a car with 1000bhp per tonne. the Buggatti veyron only has 500 bhp per tonne. Will do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds!!!

7) Aston Martin V12 vantage

The smallest aston with the biggest engine!! Looks amazing  produces 510bhp witha 0-60 of 4.2 seconds and a top spped of 190. A proper British supercar

8) Ferrari 458 Italia
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAR here. And it has 570 bhp witha top speed of 201 mph. It reaches 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. It will probably be out in early-mid 2010. ANd it will include sat nay bluetooth and all the other luxuries that we have come to expect of most cars

The best people carrier ever. Japanese quality well equipped 8 seater with 4.8L V8 engine. LE version comes with sat-nav TVs Parking sensors etc.

Pics arriving with scenes from the poor knights islands off the coast of new zealand, the sulphur springs of roturua, and a few others!!

P.S. To any1 who thinks marine biology is whale scrubbing (AHMED!!!!) have u seen blue planet???? Phones, phones and even more phones

Mobile phones today are getting ridiculous
Why do we need this choice.
why do we need phones with 12 mega-pixels for their cameras. All this means they can be blown up to about a3 size paper and do we really need that?
But still i like phones, and even if they arn't necessary, they sure are nice. Some examples coming up
First we have the LG BL40 Chocolate

a very beutiful phone indeed, and definetely unique with its tall profile. But its not only a looker it has real preformance, with a capacitative touchscreen, accelerometer and S-Class Touch UI

Next we have the Samsung i8910 Omnia HD.

A relitivly good looking phone, The Samsung i890 Omnia HD boasts a large and gorgeous AMOLED touch screen and features an 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording and playback. The TouchWiz interface is greatly improved, and the smartphone also offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Thirdly we have the sony-ericsson aino. pronounced I-No, a rather weird name but a very beautiful phone nontheless.

Simply stunning with the stand up charger. This slide touchscreen phone has ps3 remote play an 8 megapixel camera with flash and great multimedia features

All in all its a horrible choice choosing the right phone.
And boy do i know about that!

Anywayz if u want a new phone a word of advice, know exactly what u want from it

Villa

Right lads. its then end of the decade and its time 4 a tribute to the most hard-working, amazin, and definatly the most english club in the world
I'm talking of course of Aston Villa.A few memrobale matchs of the 2000s for the villa comimg up
But also to keep non-footy fans interested other sporting events will be posted:

1) Aston Villa vs Chelsea, 2008/2009
This was and always will be a classic.
It was a tale of two halves with us taking a 2 nil lead against chelsea, witha well-worked goal with agbonlahor chipping to carew, who heads it across for Shaun Maloneyy to tap in, and then a horrible gaffe by cech froma maloney shot. however chelseea had a lifeline when the referee made an idiot of a decision to award chelsea a penalty and send off zat knight.
Then oat 50 minutes, a certain shevchenko hit a cracker, then alex, but villa were down but not out!1
Martin Laursen volleyed in a beutiful young free kick into the bottom corner to level.
Then Ballack hit a free kick in even though it shouldn't have been awarded.
But Villa equalised deepinto stoppage time with ashley cole handballing the ball and gareth Barry duly converting the resulting penalty.
Can be seen on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkZaJk5EX2g

2) An Amazin 50- yard stunner into the top corner by Stiylan Petrov in our 6-1 thrashing of derby, can be seen on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukq-5HyZ_bM

3) James Milners wonder strike against sunderland this season, hold off a defender then unleashing a thunderbolt! Can be viewed on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_G8q4dC1Oo

4) Another james millner, with a delightfully amazong chip over matt duke at hull.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_G8q4dC1Oo

5) Not a footy one this time, this is a cricket match for those who care, it is pakistan vs india at the inaugral t20 world cup. This was one of the most amazing games of t20 with pakistan restricting india to 157. buit india would get a kickstart with getting 2 outs in 3 overs buit then imran nazir arrived and hammered the balls until pakistan were cruisin at 50 for 2, but a direct hit run out removed nazir and then wickets started to fall for pakistan. In the last over 13 runs were needed to win, with only 1 wicket remaining. Joginder Sharma bowled a wide first ball, followed by a dot ball. Misbah-ul-haq followed by taking six off a full-toss; Pakistan needed just 6 runs to win from the last four balls. Misbah attempted to hit the next ball with a audacious paddle-scoop over fine leg, but he only managed to sky the ball, and it was caught at short fine-leg by Sreesanth, leaving Pakistan all out for 152 runs.

6)Can't be bothered to do another 1 so here they r some memrobable moments of the noughties
